Originally from Winchester, a career in IT has taken me to work in various locations in the UK and abroad. I settled in Salisbury over 25 years ago and have much enjoyed putting down roots here and getting to know the City and the wider area. Now retired, I enjoy walking and cycling, and am a volunteer guide in Salisbury Cathedral.
My interest in environmental issues led me to take a Diploma in Environmental Policy with the Open University in 2002. I am particularly interested in sustainable transport, and have been an active member of the committee of the Cycling Opportunities Group for Salisbury (COGS) for many years and was a founder member of Salisbury’s car share club (now part of Co-Cars).
I would like to see a Neighbourhood Plan developed that reflects people’s views and which can also enable the city to thrive while adapting to the environmental challenges we now face.
