Take part in the brand new Salisbury Discovery Nature Trail

on Friday, 18 December 2020.

Salisbury City Council’s Communities Team have created a Discovery Nature Trail for people to explore the beautiful green spaces in our city and discover the various species of wildlife that call Salisbury home.

The trail is made up of 15 posts with special zinc plaques that you can create a rubbing from. All are situated in our parks and open spaces, some of which you may not have visited before.

Booklets will soon be available to download from our website https://www.salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk/s/salisbury-discovery-nature-trail or from the Information Centre in Fish Row.

We would love you to take photos as you go on the trail, whether or not it is related to the species included in the trail. Upload them to the Discovery Nature Trail’s Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/salisburydiscoverynaturetrail.

For more information and to view our recommended route of the nature trail along with a map which guides you to the location of each plaque, please visit our website https://www.salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk/s/salisbury-discovery-nature-trail

Don’t forget - There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing and footwear!

We hope you enjoy the trail as much as we have putting it together. If you have any feedback, we would love to hear from you. Please send it to bhc@salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk or to The Communities Team, Salisbury City Council, The Guildhall, Salisbury, SP1 1JH
