Still time to get involved in Salisbury Carnival

on Wednesday, 08 October 2014.

There is still time to get involved in Salisbury’s illuminated carnival on Friday 24 October at 7.30pm.

Following on from previous years the Carnival will begin at 7.30pm from Salisbury Coach Park and follow the regular route of Castle Street, Blue Boar Row, Queen Street, New Canal, High Street, Bridge Street and Fisherton Street before finishing in the Central Car Park.

Large illuminated floats will be interspersed with a wide range of walking groups, bands, floats, and vintage steam driven vehicles.  As part of the carnival festivities there will be entertainment and fair rides in the Guildhall Square from 3 until 7pm.

Entry is free (with the exception of business entries at £25), and all money raised this year will be in aid of The Mayor Of Salisbury’s Appeal which is The Grow Wild Project for Exeter House School.
