Salisbury’s Sunday Festive Markets to return in the lead up to Christmas

on Monday, 30 November 2020.

Salisbury City Council’s Sunday Festive Markets are making a return to Salisbury Market Place this year. The Markets will be open every Sunday from Sunday 6 December until Sunday 20 December, 10am until 4pm, in the lead up to Christmas.

Local traders will offer an enticing and varied range of goods and produce. Choose from craft and gift items; perfect for a unique Christmas gift or a fabulous addition to your home. There will also be delicious festive food to take away. The event will showcase more than 40 stalls every Sunday and promises to add extra festive spirit to the Market Place.

Visitors are invited to pop on down and support your local traders this festive season but are requested to be strongly mindful of government regulations and to remember the importance of “Hands, Face, Space”. If a stall you are wishing to visit appears busy then consider moving on and returning at a later, quieter moment.

Leader of the City Council, Cllr Liz Sirman said, “I am looking forward to picking up some fantastic gift items at the Sunday Festive Markets. With the unfortunate cancellation of the Christmas Fair, the weekly markets will give people the opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and do some festive shopping and importantly support local traders during this tough time.”

The Sunday Festive Markets will be Covid secure. Please remember to follow social distancing guidelines when visiting.
