Salisbury City Council’s Pan Disability Football Team returns for the 2022/2023 season!

on Wednesday, 21 September 2022.

Salisbury City Council’s Community Activity Leaders are delighted to announce that the team has now resumed training after a summer break, and are excited to once again be able to provide opportunities for those aged 12-18 with disabilities to get involved in playing football. Sessions are open to all abilities; from those with previous experience to those without.

The team now trains outdoors all year round, with sessions taking place every Monday during term time, 5pm-6pm at South Wilts Sports Club, Wilton Road, Salisbury, SP2 9NY. The first session is free for each new participant, followed by £4 per session attended. If cost has any impact on attendance, please get in touch to discuss this in confidence and see how we can help.

Tim, a parent of one participant who has been attending since the start, has been pleased with the opportunities that these sessions provide his child; “I have been bringing Noah to these sessions since September 2018. He would not be able to access main-stream football, so these sessions are so important to him and give him and others the opportunity to practice and learn new skills, play some football, and have some fun for an hour on Monday evenings. I have observed not only our child but the other members grow in confidence, not only in football skills, but also socially and this is due mainly to the patience and professionalism of Sean and his team. All are made to feel very welcome”.

If you would like any more information, please contact Sean at the Bemerton Heath Centre on 01722 417100, or alternatively email

In addition to our 12-18 team, we are really excited to have teamed up with the Salisbury Tigers, an adult Pan Disability Football Team who train alongside us at the same time. If you are 18+ and interested in playing football, please get in touch with John via email at;
