On Monday 14 February 2022, Salisbury City Council’s Leadership Group (Councillors Annie Riddle, Ian Tomes and Victoria Charleston) met with the Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Wilkinson at Salisbury Guildhall. The Commissioner and councillors had a wide ranging discussion about policing matters affecting the residents of Salisbury, including the allocation of additional police officers to Salisbury, options for a Salisbury police station and funding for CCTV in the city.

On Monday 7 February 2022, the Services Committee of Salisbury City Council received the annual report from the Salisbury Crematorium and Cemeteries Manager Neil Lucas. Mr Lucas noted that the crematorium remains busy with the webcast and tribute screen being popular for families at the crematorium. The grounds continue to be well looked after and a programme of tree works has been completed. It was reported that 77 interments have taken place at the new Avenue Cemetery since its opening in October 2019.
