Salisbury City Council are organising St. George’s Day Celebrations in the City again this year on Sunday 24 April 2016 from 11am until 4pm in the Market Place and Guildhall Square.

The first ever Bemerton Heath Community Cinema took place at Woodlands Primary School in Winding Way, Salisbury on Thursday 18 February during the recent school half-term holiday.

Salisbury City Council is seeking to engage a contractor to service and clean its public toilet facilities for a two year period, with an option for a further two years by agreement of both parties.

Applications are now being invited for Salisbury City Council’s Community Development Grant Fund that will benefit local people.

A new event for 2016 is being organised by Salisbury City Council. The Home & Garden Show will take place on Sunday 20 March from 10am – 4pm in the Market Place and Guildhall Square.

The Market Place and Guildhall Square is set to host a large number of markets during 2016. The markets organised by Salisbury City Council complement the regular weekly Charter Market every Tuesday and Saturday.

Under the provision of the Open Spaces Act 1906 and under Section 123 (2a) of the Local Government Act 1972 Salisbury City Council wishes to advertise its intention to sell a small piece of land to the side of 16 Radcliffe Road, Salisbury.

All works will be undertaken in a relatively small geographical area covering Salisbury City Council boundaries only.

The Salisbury Big Business Event is back for 2016 and will be held at The Guildhall, Salisbury from the 19 – 21 April. The event offers some fantastic opportunities for businesses of all shapes and sizes to network, showcase and engage with both the public and the wider business community.

Salisbury City Council offices at The Guildhall, will close at midday on Christmas Eve and reopen at 9am on Monday 4 January 2016.

The Guildhall – Salisbury will host its first Wedding Fair of 2016 on Sunday 7 February from 11am until 3.30pm.

Salisbury City Council have introduced more local products and charity cards in to their Information Centre in Fish Row for the festive season.

Salisbury City Council, in partnership with Wiltshire Council, have been running beginner adult art classes at the Bemerton Heath Centre.
