It is with much regret that the death of Mrs G C Tudhope is announced. Mrs Gloria Tudhope served on Salisbury City Council from 2009-2013, was a Salisbury City Charter Trustee and Salisbury District Councillor. Mrs Tudhope was the Mayor of the City of Salisbury 1991-1992.

Salisbury City Council has been working with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust to create a wildlife friendly river bank in Churchill Gardens. This forms part of the wider Garden Meets Rivers Edge project in Partnership with Natural England.

From Saturday 4th July 2020, Salisbury City Council will be reopening their play areas at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Churchill Gardens and Victoria Park. These play areas will be sanitised once a week on a Monday morning.

Since the easing of lockdown, residents have been enjoying Salisbury’s parks and open spaces. Unfortunately Salisbury City Council’s Parks Team are continuing to notice a growing amount of litter in these areas and are urging visitors to take their litter home or put it in a bin.
