The Farmers’ & Artisan Markets continue on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 10am and showcases local producers offering a wide range of food and craft items that are made within a 50 mile radius of the City.

Market Place are all set to arrive in Guildhall Square in Salisbury this Spring for another exciting continental market! Market Place shall be bringing a fantastic number of global traders to the Square from Sunday 24th May to Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2015.

Salisbury Business improvement (BID) and Salisbury City Council (SCC) are working in partnership on an exciting new initiative to decorate the City this summer. The first phase of the project begins today (20 May 2015) with the arrival of a number of topiary displays in the City. Alongside the topiary will be the summer hanging baskets and planters across the City plus later next month the arrival of flags and lamp post banners.

Salisbury City Council’s camping and caravanning site, which sits just below Old Sarum at Hudson’s Field and is managed by the Camping and Caravanning Club of Great Britain, is to trial extending its opening times this year.

Salisbury City Council is delighted to announce the election of Councillor Mr Andrew Roberts as the 755th Right Worshipful the Mayor of the City of Salisbury following the Annual Meeting of the Council which took place at St. Thomas’s Church on Saturday 16 May.

The Right Worshipful Mayor of the City of Salisbury Councillor Mrs Jo Broom will lead a Civic procession at approximately 11.40am from The Guildhall, Salisbury to St. Thomas's Church via Queen Street, New Canal, High Street and into St.Thomas's Square.
