Health Fayre (4:30 PM)

You are warmly invited to attend Salisbury Area Board’s Health Fayre on Thursday 18th September from 4.30pm at Salisbury Methodist Church in St Edmund's Church Street, Salisbury.

The event will feature a range of interactive stands, health checks (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc), seminars and presentations aimed at raising awareness of local health and wellbeing issues in Salisbury.  You can get advice and support, talk to health and care experts, take part in discussions and learn about changes to the way health is provided in the City.

You will also have chance to become a 'dementia friend' with a 'drop in' dementia awareness session run by the Alzheimer’s Society.  Our aim is make Salisbury a dementia friendly City and the more people who are aware of the needs of people with dementia, the closer we get to achieving that ambition.

There will also be a film featuring the changes signalled in Wiltshire's Better Care Plan, which brings together health and council services to work with local communities to deliver better health and wellbeing outcomes in Salisbury.  There will be a Q&A with experts on hand to answer your questions.

We also have updates on Salisbury's Air Quality action plan and progress with Salisbury Campus - come and see the model and hear about progress with the build.
