There are just two weeks to go until Salisbury’s Christmas Lights Switch on organised by Salisbury City Council.
The event takes place on Salisbury’s historic Market Place on Thursday 16 November from 6pm until 8pm. Performing at this year’s event will be Stagecoach Salisbury, Tom & The Clementynes and Soul Strutters.
The crowd can also enjoy walkabout entertainment this year from the Bouncing Snowmen, Floating Angels and even a Jester.
The Mayor of Salisbury Cllr John Lindley will be joined on stage by Father Christmas for the big countdown to switch on at approximately 7pm followed by a short firework display.
This year, the Council have funded FREE return shuttle buses into the City Centre from all Park & Ride sites until 9.30pm to help ease congestion.
