Salisbury Carnival Results

On Friday 20 October thousands of people lined the City streets of Salisbury to watch Salisbury Carnival 2017.

This year 47 entries from both Wessex Carnival Circuit, the business community and local community groups took part in the illuminated procession.

Along the way all entries are judged and the results are as follows:

The Mayor of Salisbury Cllr John Lindley was raising funds for his mayoral charity – The Alzheimer’s Society

Overall Salisbury Carnival raised a fantastic total of £2134 for the Mayor’s Appeal.

Cllr Lindley said, “What a fantastic evening for the City, a huge thank you to all who take part and to the team at City Council for putting this event together. I am delighted with the amount raised, thank you for your kind donations.”
