The Salisbury Big Business Event returns to the City from 25 – 27 April in the Market Place & Guildhall.

Now in its sixth year, the event organised by Salisbury City Council, Wiltshire Council, Salisbury Federation of Small Businesses, Salisbury BID, Blue Frontier, SWLEP, Salisbury Journal, Salisbury Chamber, Simon Rhodes and Simon Ward Photography is a 3 day event attracting businesses from across the County.

Celebrate St. George’s Day in Salisbury

Salisbury will once again celebrate St. George’s Day with an annual family fun day on Sunday 23 April from 11am until 4pm in the Market Place, Guildhall and Guildhall Square.

The St. George’s Day event which is organised by Salisbury City Council starts at 11am with a short procession of Salisbury City Councillors led by the Mace Bearers and then a welcome from the Mayor Cllr Derek Brown OBE.

Salisbury City Council is delighted to announce its annual gardening and allotment competitions for 2017.

Making a welcome return, and with new judges, the Salisbury City Council Garden Competition is open to anyone who tends a garden in the City including private gardeners, pubs, accommodation providers and schools. Last year’s competition saw Bronze, Silver, Gold and even a Gold Gilt Award go to gardens ranging from small back yards to pubs, hotels and care homes.

The Fold Out Festival is coming to Salisbury!

A new festival for teenagers will take place across the City of Salisbury from Saturday 15 April until Friday 21 April.

Organised by Salisbury City Council’s Community Development Team, the Fesival is supported by a large number of local community organisations including: The Sound Emporium, Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury Playhouse, Starcast, Elevate, Stagecoach, ABC Cook, Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team, Five Rivers Wellbeing Centre, Salisbury Area Board, MM Impact, Go Active!, Warren Clark Golfing Dreams and Princes Trust.

The Salisbury Big Business Event is a 3 day business event from 25 – 27 April 2017 at The Guildhall in Salisbury and each year a highlight speaker shares their story of motivation and determination. Sir Ranulph who is the only man alive to have travelled the surface of the World’s polar axis who share his sheer resilience and no-nonsense approach to creating and building his team in pursuit of the apparent impossible.
