Salisbury City Council to Launch Environmental Enforcement Campaign

Salisbury City Council is launching an Environmental Enforcement Campaign beginning Monday 30 July 2018. This means that fixed penalty notices can be issued to people who drop litter or don’t clean up after their dog. The City Council is working hard to improve the standards of cleanliness on the streets and pavements across the City and we need to make sure play everyone is playing their part in keeping the city looking its best.

Salisbury City Council will be hosting four summer fun day events across the city this year alongside their regular events and markets. The Summer Fun Days will run from 11am until 3pm at the following locations:

Explore the Avon Valley Fairy Trail

Salisbury City Council have launched The Avon Valley Fairy Trail in conjunction with the Friends of the Avon Valley Project and other community groups. The trail enables people to explore The Avon Valley Nature Reserve which is situated down by the River Avon at Ashley Road.

A popular visitor to Salisbury has made a welcome return this week! Gilbert the flower dragon has taken up his usual residence outside the Guildhall, Salisbury and officially marks the start of Summer in the City.
