There are just two weeks to go until Salisbury’s Christmas Lights Switch on organised by Salisbury City Council.

The event takes place on Salisbury’s historic Market Place on Thursday 16 November from 6pm until 8pm. Performing at this year’s event will be Stagecoach Salisbury, Tom & The Clementynes and Soul Strutters.

On Friday 20 October thousands of people lined the City streets of Salisbury to watch Salisbury Carnival 2017.

This year 47 entries from both Wessex Carnival Circuit, the business community and local community groups took part in the illuminated procession.

Salisbury City Council celebrated winners of this year’s Allotment, Scarecrow and Gardens competitions at an awards ceremony in The Guildhall on Wednesday 20 September. The evening was introduced by Parks Manager David Bradley and the awards were presented by The Mayor of the City of Salisbury, Cllr Mr John Lindley.

We are currently seeking professional companies who can deliver a professional team of SIA trained staff to support SCC and its partners on a rota system.

SCC is seeking to agree a preliminary 6 month contract with a review at Month 3 and Month 5.
