This year’s Salisbury Big Business Event will host a Made in Salisbury and Wealth of Wiltshire Market in the Guildhall Square on Thursday 23 April from 9am until 6pm.

The market will showcase a large variety of stalls from across the County offering a wonderful selection of locally produced food, drinks and artisan items.

Bookings are now being taken for the fourth Salisbury Big Business Event. The Event, which runs from 21 – 23 April at The Guildhall in Salisbury, is a fantastic opportunity to network and gain new skills and knowledge.  The event is organised by Salisbury City Council, Wiltshire Council, The Federation of Small Businesses, Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, Blue Frontier, Salisbury Journal and Salisbury Business Improvement District.

At the Full Council meeting on Monday 16 March 2015 at 6.30pm in The Guildhall, Salisbury, following a report to Councillors, Salisbury City Council has decided to review the aerial display element of the annual Christmas Lights Switch On Event. This will include the possibility of a safe and appropriate fireworks display. The Council will make a final decision about the event later in the year.

Salisbury’s Teenage Market is back for 2015!

The first of this year’s eagerly awaited Teenage Markets, run by Salisbury City Council, is happening on Sunday 29 March in Salisbury’s Market Place from 11am – 3pm. There are three Teenage Markets planned for Salisbury in 2015 with the following two on Sunday 12 July, and Sunday 25 October.

English Tourism Week in Salisbury!

English Tourism Week 2015 is a week-long calendar of events from 14 - 22 March showcasing the quality and vibrancy of the visitor experiences and the value the tourism industry brings to the nation.

As part of this week long celebration Salisbury City Council’s award-winning Information Centre team in Fish Row have put together an exciting programme of walks in partnership with Salisbury City Guides using their professional team of Blue Badge Guides. 

First Foodie Friday Market of 2015!

On Friday 13 March from 10am until 6pm, Salisbury City Council will host its first Foodie Friday Market of 2015.

Following on from the success of last year’s Foodie Friday in the Market Place, the Council have organised 8 Markets to run on the second Friday of the month from March until October.
