Civic Parade 11am

Join the Mayor of Salisbury, Councillor Mrs Penny Brown as she officially opens the St. George’s Day 2014

Punch & Judy – Guildhall Square 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm

Entertaining families since 1662 come and shout, ‘That’s the way to do it!” with us as Ticklish Allsorts bring Punch and Judy to the City.....just be careful of the crocodile!

Medieval Salisbury & St. George’s Day Tour – Starts from Guildhall at Midday

Join our blue badge guide as they take you on a tour of our historic City and find out how St. George and the dragon feature in Salisbury!

Sarum Morris Dancers – Guildhall Square Midday, 1pm and 2.30pm

Since the 15th Century Morris Dancing has played a part in festive gatherings and celebrations. Come and watch Sarum Morris perform in the Guildhall Square throughout the day.

St. George V’s The Dragon – Guildhall Oak Court 1pm

Which side will you take as St. George V’s The Dragon, come and boo and hiss in The Guildhall’s fabulous Oak Court Room and watch the drama unfold – Who is Guilty....You decide!

Enjoy the FREE workshops on offer all day with mask making, pottery and medieval games for everyone to enjoy!

Cream Teas & other refreshments will be served in the Banqueting Hall from 11am until 3pm

Fair rides, bouncy castles and face painting and much more......

Take a look at the fantastic range of English handmade food and drink on offer from our wonderful stalls around the Market Place

Meet our Jesters, dragons and street entertainers as they walk around the site and enjoy some traditional medieval music too!

Also in the Old George Mall......11am – 3pm

The British Plate Armour Society will be showing a static display of medieval items and offering a brass rubbing workshop and we also have street entertainment and live music too for your entertainment!

In the Maltings too from 11am – 3pm

Join Table Top Circus and practice your circus skills and meet our jester and dragon too!
