Council Meetings
The Council’s meeting are open to all. Members of the public are very welcome and encouraged to attend meetings. All the reports and papers for the meetings are available on this website or available from the Council Office, The Guildhall, Market Place, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 1JH. At the beginning of every meeting time is set aside to hear comments and answer questions from the public.
The Full Council meetings make decisions about the following issues.
• Setting the precept
• Borrowing money
• Making, amending or revoking Standing Orders, Financial Regulations or this Scheme of Delegation
• Matters of principle or policy
• Any proposed new undertakings;
There are three other principal committee meetings:
• Policy & Resource Committee
• Service Committee
• Planning & Transportation Committee
