Mark lives in Salisbury with his wife, Tracy, and two daughters. He is currently research director for a political research consultancy in London, where he advises and leads projects on UK and international politics for a range of the world's largest multinational companies. He has worked in this field since completing a PhD in US foreign policy at the University of Birmingham. His studies also took him to Washington DC where he was based at the School of Advanced International Studes - Johns Hopkins University (SAIS), interviewing senior members of George W. Bush's administration.
Mark's interests include energy policy and defence/security policy. He is also particularly focussed on doing all he can to help transform Salisbury into a world-class tourist destination, attracting much-needed new investment to the city. When not talking politics, Mark can often be found watching Tottenham.
