The Salisbury Teenage Markets
Organised and managed by Salisbury City Council the Teenage Market is now in its fifth year.
The Salisbury Teenage Market is a free platform for entrepreneurial young people wanting to promote their skills and business ideas, lots of traders over the last 5 years have gone on to become established business owners and market traders across the County and further afield.
Creative artist Harri Tea joined the Teenage market in 2014 and has gone on to exhibit work in galleries, cafes and even Salisbury District Hospital.
She said, “If you're a new artist trying to wriggle your way into this enormous industry as I still am, then you'll understand that every opportunity counts. I cannot thank the Teenage Market enough.”
Talented musician Josie Hallett who pays the guitar, ukulele ad sings has also benefitted from performing at the Salisbury Teenage Market, she said, “I have performed at four teenage markets previously and do not plan on leaving them anytime soon! For anyone wanting to perform and get themselves known keep practicing and performing in front of small crowds.”
The Teenage Markets will be open at the Guildhall Square on the following dates in 2019:
Saturday 13th April from 10:00am - 3:00pm running alongside our Charter Market
Saturday 24th August (rescheduled from Saturday 10 August) from 10:00am - 3:00pm running alongside our Charter Market
Saturday 12th October from 10:00am - 3:00pm running alongside our Charter Market

The Teenage Market for Saturday 10 August has unfortunately been cancelled due the predicted weather forecast. The event has been rescheduled to Saturday 24 August.
